One Last Embrace | Starshipping

A raven haired youth known as Yusei had his arms wrapped around a shorter brunette. Both were in a tight but silent embrace. The brunette took a deep breath his chocolate-colored orbs looking up to the others cerulean orbs.  The brunette managed to crack a small smile for the other. He badly desired to cry but he couldn't allow himself to do so! His duty was to keep Yusei happy and motivate him to strive for the best. The brunette male squeezed his way out from the others embrace. He extended his hand as if asking to shake the ebony haired man’s hand. Yusei carefully held Jaden’s hand. He squeezed it lightly in attempt to reassure the other. The ebony haired youth reluctantly let go of the younger male’s hand. He turned on his heel and began making his way. He wouldn't turn back… no... Saying good-bye was hard enough as is. He wouldn't make it become harder on himself.

“Yusei!!” a voice called out after him. It was none other than Jaden. He wanted to keep moving on ahead not answering the others call, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. He ceased his movement and turned around to have the brunette running into his arms. The brunette was clearly crying his face buried in the other youths chest. “I’m sorry Yuse,” he mumbled the apology.

The older male carefully lifted the other boy’s face upwards and began wiping away at the youths tears.

“It’s not your fault Jaden,” He soothed the other gently rubbing the others back; “Doing this sort of thing is always difficult.”

The brunette sniffed, “I don’t want you leaving me Yuse.. I don’t want you getting hurt or anything!” The concern in the others voice made this situation more devastating for the ebony haired youth.

“I shouldn't be telling you this… it’s making it harder on you!” The brunette had announced. It must have been obvious by the look on Yusei’s face. Jaden was one of the only people who could read him well. The ebony haired youth’s lips gently brushed against the shorter male’s forehead.

“Your happiness and well-being is important to. So you telling me will only ensure that you’ll be okay,” the wiser male had put simply his gloved hands running through Jaden’s hair.

“Jaden I guarantee you I’ll make it back alright,” he vowed stopping his actions to extend his pinky.

“I’ll keep you to your promise Fudo,” he managed to crack a small smile for his lover’s sake.

“Of course... Maybe when I get back I could address an important question,” the older youth had seemingly stated randomly as a reminder for himself. The brunette wrapped his arms around the others waist.

“If it isn't too much trouble, could we hug for a while longer?” the brunette asked softly.

“Of course,” he smiled down at the other.

Yusei knew well to enjoy this moment for soon it would all be over.
